Discovery Shores Boracay Resort and Spa, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is set to open to the public in December 2006. Located at Boat Station 1 and occupying a total of 7,200 square meters of sloping property, the 88-unit resort and spa offers guests a panoramic view of the beach and the island’s famous sunset.

A 14-meter high waterfall, which cascades from an infinity pool down to the swimming pool, is sure to be popular with hotel guests. The hotel's three-level clubhouse will house THE SANDS restaurant, the Discovery Shores Spa by Mandala, a function room for meetings and intimate receptions, the IBIZA recreation room, SANDBAR beachfront bar, and THE SANDBOX children’s lounge.

"Discovery Shores will achieve a level of luxury that has not been seen before in Boracay,” said Jun Parre?o, general manager of the resort. "The property will definitely put Boracay in the international resort market as a first-tier destination for business and leisure travelers.”
